64K Demos are tiny little files (64 Kilobytes) that hold extremely compressed coding, which, when executes, make amazing videos and music. These files are so tiny, you don't even have to wait for them to download!

There are different demos too. 64K Demos are the most abundant, but there are also ones that are a tiny spec of 4 Kilobytes on your hard drive. There are also amazing ones such as First-person-shooters, that can be about 96K.

The amazing detail, video, and music comes at an extreme cost though. If your computer isn't completely up to date, then it will probably have trouble running them. My 2.6 Core 2 duo, with 2 Gigabytes of RAM can't even run these. I had to use my friends amazing computer to run them.
