OpenLieroX is an amazing LAN-Party type of game. The object of the game is to defeat the other characters using 5 of the many weapon choices. The levels are very creative, including a giant christmas tree, and all-dirt levels. You can dig through the dirt, thus making it tough for the enemy to catch up to you.
A great game to compare this to is Worms Armageddon. OpenLieroX is pretty much real-time-Worms.
An amazing aspect of this game is the customization. There are tons and tons of character sprites to choose from, ranging from worms, to Hello Kitty, to Scorpion, to Fred Flintstone! You can even choose from 4 different menu layouts!
The Highlight: What keeps this game so interesting, is that there are many, many different sets of "mods." Each mod has different weapons, and such. The mods can range from "Penguins" to Star Wars, and one-hit-kill weapons. My personal favorite is the 8-Bit Warfare mod.

On another note, I find that this game is only really fun if you've got some other friends with you. People you can get blazing mad at for killing you so many times in a row, and then kick there ass in the one-hit-kill mod.
